Mike Stout is an illustrator & tattooist based in Brighton, Uk.

Beginning his career as a graphic designer working mainly on branding and logos focusing on simplistic & strong design. After studying illustration at Camberwell university in London Mike then went on to work as a freelance illustrator, working mainly in the editorial sector illustrating stories for scientific papers. 

Mike aims to bring this same bespoke aspect over to tattooing by creating unique one-off tattoos for each client. 

 

Mike specializes in creating miniature illustrative black ink tattoos, with a particular focus on optical pattern-work and dotwork shading. His work mainly focuses on the spectrum of textures and patterns found in nature, technology, space, and dinosaurs.
